
Apple turnovers with almonds and raisins
Description
The recipe won't take much time. These are small puff pastry turnovers filled with a mixture of caramelized almonds, applesauce, and raisins. Serve chilled.

Pour the powdered sugar into a non-stick frying pan, spread it evenly over the entire surface, and place over high heat.

After some time, the sugar begins to melt...

... and turns into caramel.

Then add almond flakes.

Reduce the heat and stir to coat the almonds with caramel.

As soon as the almonds turn caramel-colored, remove from heat and spread onto parchment paper.

Let cool, then crush with a rolling pin.

Put the apple puree into a small bowl.

Soak the clean raisins in rum and let them steep for an hour.

Add raisins and almonds to the apple puree and mix well.

Roll out the dough. Preheat the oven to 200 °C.

Cut out circles with a diameter of approximately 10 cm (minimum), place on a baking sheet

Brush the edges of the dough with water around the perimeter for better sealing.

Place one teaspoon of apple mixture on each circle.
