
Apple muffins
Description
The flavor of apples in these little cakes will become even brighter and more interesting if you add a pinch of ground cinnamon to the batter along with them—but that is optional. You can serve them with tea or coffee.

Lay out all the ingredients on the table right away. Wash the apples. The butter should already be soft by the time you start cooking.

In a large bowl, place pieces of soft butter and add sugar. Beat these ingredients with a mixer until the mixture is creamy.

Beat in the eggs and keep beating everything with a mixer until the mixture is smooth and even.

Add the milk. Stir.

Sift the flour with baking powder, add the salt. Mix everything with a spoon.

Peel the apples, grate them on a coarse grater, and add them to the dough.

Mix everything until you have a smooth, thick batter.

Spread the apple batter into the molds, filling them two-thirds full — I use silicone ones. Bake for 20–25 minutes in an oven preheated to 180°C.
