Apple chips
Description
The snack comes together quickly and easily. Apple chips pair well with jam or honey, or you can simply use them instead of sweets. You can also experiment with the chips—for example, sprinkle them with cinnamon or nutmeg before they go into the oven, or give them a vanilla flavor. If you want something sweeter, make a sweet syrup from 80 g sugar and a little water, put it all in a skillet, and lightly sauté the apples so they soak up the sugar, then bake them the same way as before. The rest is up to you—everything fits into this simple apple chip recipe ;) Serve with greens and sauce.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Core the apples. You can use different apple varieties — that way the flavor will be more varied.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the apples into rings (not very thick, but not too thin either, about 3 mm), without peeling them. Preheat the oven to 110°C. Arrange the apples on a baking sheet, or even better, on special baking parchment. Sprinkle cinnamon on top.

Step 3

After 30 minutes, turn the apples over and bake for the same amount of time; the apples should dry out slightly and become firm.
