
Apple jelly with mint
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Mint and apples go perfectly together and complement each other. Mint is boiled together with apple pieces, then removed. Be sure to drain the juice from the cooked apples, then add pectin and alcohol to taste. Details: the ready dessert can be served at the table.

Prepare the ingredients. Wash the apples and mint.

Cut the apples into small cubes, removing the seed cores.

Pour half of the juice over the apples and place mint on top. Cover with a lid and cook over low heat until the apples are soft.

Remove the mint. Drain the apples in a colander and let the juice drain off.

Add the remaining apple juice, 250 g of sugar, and 20 g of jam (jam sugar), cook according to the instructions, remove from heat, pour in the alcohol, transfer into sterilized jars, and seal with lids. Yield of the finished jelly is 0.5 liters.

Blend the pulp until smooth, add sugar and jam, and mix well. Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes, then spoon into jars.
