Apple cottage cheese pancakes
Description
Homemade treats for tea. Use apples of any variety for making pancakes, but not sour ones, and cottage cheese of any fat content. You can add sweet spices and seasonings to the batter, such as orange or lemon zest, cinnamon, or vanilla sugar. Don't forget the baking powder—it's what makes the pancakes fluffy. Serve the dessert hot with various sweet toppings and a fragrant tea or coffee. The baked goods are ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Rinse the apples in water and peel them with a vegetable peeler. It is advisable to remove the peel, as apples are often treated with paraffin.
- 2
Step 2

Put the chicken eggs into a deep container, pour in the milk, and add sugar and salt. Whisk everything with a whisk for 1-2 minutes until the sugar is completely dissolved. Optionally, you can add other sweet spices at this stage.
- 3
Step 3

Place the cottage cheese in and mash it in the liquid, then mix.
- 4
Step 4

Add the premium wheat flour and baking powder. If baking powder is not available, neutralize 1/2 tsp of baking soda with 6% vinegar or lemon juice, then add it to the batter and mix thoroughly. The fluffiness of the pancakes directly depends on the baking powder or neutralized baking soda.
- 5
Step 5

Grate the apples on a fine grater and add to the batter, gently incorporating.
- 6
Step 6

Heat a skillet and pour in odorless vegetable oil. Spoon the batter onto the skillet and reduce the heat to medium. Fry the pancakes for about 1-2 minutes on one side. Keep an eye on the heat, as the dessert can easily burn!
- 7
Step 7

Carefully flip the pancakes to the other side and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- 8
Step 8

Place them on a plate and fry the remaining pancakes in the same way.
- 9
Step 9

Serve them warm with sour cream of any fat content, condensed milk, syrup, berries, or fruits. Enjoy your meal!
