Apple-Blackberry Pie

Description

The recipe won't take much time. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease a baking pan and sprinkle with granulated sugar. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together melted butter, 3/4 cup brown sugar, milk, and eggs. Add the mixture to the flour. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Arrange apple slices on top and scatter blackberries over. Gently press the apples and blackberries into the batter. Mix the remaining 2 tablespoons of brown sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over the top of the cake. Bake until golden brown; the apples will not become soft, about 55 minutes. Let cool. Decorate with whipped cream if desired. Serve chilled.
