Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. You can use absolutely any apples. I use substandard apples for my fruit leather—ones I wouldn't put into a fruit bowl. Usually, I make compote from slightly spoiled apples, and now I also make fruit leather from them.
- 2
Step 2

Peel the apples and cut them into small cubes.
- 3
Step 3

Place the apples in a food processor or chopper and puree until smooth.
- 4
Step 4

Add sugar and mix. If the apples are sweet, you can omit the sugar, making the pastille even more nutritious.
- 5
Step 5

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the apple mixture onto it in a thin, even layer. Dry the fruit leather in the oven on the top rack with the door slightly open for 3 hours.

Step 6

The pastila is ready. Remove it from the parchment paper and cut into squares or strips.
