Description

Homemade baked treat for tea. There's nothing complicated about making an apple cake—you just need to prepare the dough and apples for baking. The result is a moist, dense, and sweet cake similar to an apple pie. Be sure to add vanilla to the dough; it will make it not only tastier but also more aromatic. If you don't have apples, you can use fresh apricots, peaches, pears, or plums—equally delicious. Decorate the finished cake with powdered sugar or cinnamon. Serve with tea or coffee.

    1. Beat soft butter with a mixer or whisk for 2 minutes, then add sugar and beat for another 2–3 minutes. Add kefir and mix well.

    2. Pour the batter into a bowl, add vanilla, sifted flour (add in parts), baking powder, and mix. Line a 20 cm diameter pan with parchment paper. Cut the apples in half, remove the cores, and dice into cubes.

    3. Place the apples on the bottom of the pan, then spread and smooth the batter on top. Sprinkle the batter with cinnamon and put the future pie into a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
