Apple beer
Description
Apple beer is a wonderful low-alcohol drink that perfectly quenches thirst and can be a great alternative to kvass during hot weather. In this apple beer recipe, you can do without sugar. To determine this, peel a couple of apples, chop them finely, and leave in a warm place. If after 2-3 days the apple mass hasn't started fermenting, you need to add sugar. If fermentation proceeds well, then for this apple variety sugar isn't necessary. Use ripe apples for brewing, preferably sweeter ones. You can use any yeast, but wine or dry yeast are the best options. Can be served.

Step 1

1. First, sort the apples and remove any rotten ones. Wash the rest thoroughly, then cut out the cores, stems, and any damaged spots if present. Rot gives the drink a bitter taste, so be very careful when sorting the apples.

2. Finely chop the prepared fruits or grind them using a meat grinder or blender. Transfer the resulting mass into a fermentation container. Leave it for several hours in a warm place. Then pour in 1.5 liters of water and mix thoroughly. Boil the remaining water, dissolve the sugar in it, cool the syrup down to 30 degrees (no higher), add the yeast, stir, and pour it into the container with the apple mass. Cover with gauze and place in a warm spot for fermentation for 6-7 days.
