
Baking with kefir
Description
Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. You can use store-bought kefir or make it yourself. The dough is universal, so besides buns, you can use it for baking pies. Serve the buns cooled down. For a nice crust, brush the buns with butter immediately after taking them out of the oven. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

In a bowl, pour warm water, mix in the yeast and 1 tablespoon of sugar, and let it sit for fifteen minutes.

Add kefir, eggs, remaining sugar, a pinch of salt, and melted butter to the yeast.

Sift the flour and gradually add it in portions, knead the dough for 10-12 minutes, then cover with a towel and let it rest for 2-4 hours.

Place the dough on the table and knead it by hand, adding a small amount of flour.

Cover the dough with a towel and let it rest for 1 hour, then divide it into several portions (according to the desired bun size).

Place the buns in a greased baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for 25-35 minutes.

Remove the finished buns from the oven and brush them with butter. Let them cool, then separate and serve.
