
Oven-Dried Bell Peppers
Description
It works for both holidays and everyday meals. Store this pepper in the refrigerator for 2–3 months. You can make it in small batches throughout the year. For even cooking, turn the baking sheet several times. If you don't like basil, you can replace it with your favorite dried herbs. Serve with herbs and sauce.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making dried Bulgarian pepper. And we will cook it in the oven.

Wash the bell peppers, pat them dry, and remove the stems, seeds, and membranes. Cut into pieces. Line a baking sheet with foil and arrange the prepared peppers in a single layer. Season the peppers with salt and dried basil.

Place the baking sheet with the peppers in the oven and dry for 5–6 hours at 80–90°C. The peppers should remain soft but not wet.

If you want to make this pepper for storage, place it in dry, sterilized jars. Add chopped garlic and black pepper. Heat the oil and pour it over the peppers all the way to the top. Seal tightly with clean lids. After cooling, refrigerate.
