Sun-Dried Tomatoes in an Air Fryer
Description
This recipe won't take much time. For this recipe, it's best to use "Slivka" tomatoes, as they are not very juicy and are small in size. You can also choose spices to taste; I really like khmeli-suneli in this recipe. If you don't have olive oil on hand, odorless sunflower oil will work just fine. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Thoroughly wash the tomatoes under running water. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 2
Step 2

Cut all the tomatoes into quarters.

Step 3

Using a teaspoon, remove the seeds from each quarter, leaving only the flesh.

Step 4

Cut the garlic cloves into thin slices. In a separate small bowl, combine khmeli-suneli with salt and mix.

Step 5

Place 1–2 garlic slices on each tomato quarter and sprinkle lightly with a mixture of khmeli-suneli and salt. Arrange all prepared quarters on the rack in the air fryer basket, then insert the filled basket into the air fryer. Dry the tomatoes at 90°C for 4–5 hours.

Step 6

Place the ready sun-dried tomatoes in a glass jar and pour olive oil over them so the tops are covered. Seal the jar tightly with a lid and store it in the refrigerator.
