Vol-au-vents with caviar
Description
The pastry is easy and quick to prepare. Volshevan fillings can be anything you like: red caviar, mushrooms, meat, jam, or even Olivier salad. As an appetizer, it's a perfect choice for any table.

Step 1

1. So, you can prepare vol-au-vents with caviar at home in just one hour. If you're planning a feast, I highly recommend them as an appetizer.

Step 2

2. Prepare the vol-au-vents in the standard way. First, take puff pastry (I use ready-made), roll it out into a sheet, and cut out larger and slightly smaller circles. Then brush the first circle with egg and place the second, smaller circle on top.

Step 3

3. Place in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for about fifteen minutes. Watch carefully—once the vol-au-vents start turning golden, they can be taken out.

Step 4

4. Take cream cheese, spread it on the bottom of the vol-au-vents, and add the filling—red caviar. Top the appetizer with parsley and place them on lettuce leaves.
