Delicious chocolate peanut sherbet
Description
The recipe won't take much time. It's most convenient to chill the sherbet in a silicone mold, but a regular one will work too. I used a square glass mold with 20 cm sides. Be sure to try making this chocolate peanut sherbet using the recipe and treat your family to a delicious dessert. Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Lay out all the ingredients on the table before starting to cook.
- 2
Step 2

Pour the milk into a heavy-bottomed saucepan and add all the sugar. Place the saucepan over low heat and, stirring constantly with a whisk, bring to a boil.
- 3
Step 3

After the mixture comes to a boil, reduce the heat to the lowest setting and simmer for 50 minutes, stirring constantly. Do not leave the stove—this sweet milk mixture tends to boil over constantly.
- 4
Step 4

Meanwhile, place all the peanuts in a dry skillet and toast over low heat until lightly golden.
- 5
Step 5

Place the fried peanuts on a flat plate to cool.
- 6
Step 6

Gradually, the mixture turns creamy in color and, towards the end of cooking, acquires the consistency of condensed milk.
- 7
Step 7

Add the butter and chocolate, broken into pieces. Mix in these ingredients.
- 8
Step 8

The mixture should become smooth and thick. Remove the pan from the heat.
- 9
Step 9

Add all the peanuts to the chocolate mixture and stir until evenly distributed.
- 10
Step 10

Line the bottom of a convenient mold with plastic wrap and place the sherbet into the prepared mold, smoothing it with slightly moistened hands. Leave the sherbet in the mold to cool, then once cooled, refrigerate for about an hour.
- 11
Step 11

After the refrigerator, I ended up with a solid slab of sherbet. It turns out quite dense and can be easily cut or broken into portions.
- 12
Step 12

This is very delicious!
