Delicious white bread in a bread maker
Description
The baking process is simple and quick. Making bread at home is perhaps somewhat of a ritual. One of the oldest and most enduring traditions is bread baking. In the past, as you may remember, bread was baked in old-fashioned ovens, where the heat was intense and the wood smoke infused every dish with a unique aroma. The dough was kneaded using a sourdough starter, which was carefully maintained and preserved for years! Nowadays, we do things much simpler and faster. And here your bread machine comes to the rescue. The baking is done. Serve it at the table.

Step 1

Sift the flour. Pour it into the bread machine. Add the yeast, salt, and sugar. Pour in water or milk. Then add the vegetable oil. There's no need to mix anything by hand. That's the advantage of a bread machine.

Step 2

Close the bread maker, set the program to "Classic Bread". Press the "Start" button and begin the kneading process. Generally, it's better not to open the lid during the process. But I specifically want to do it to show you how everything works.

Step 3

I'll tell you right away that bread machines, of course, vary—primarily in their settings. You'll need to figure it out yourself by referring to the instruction manual. Also, your bread machine might have one or two bread compartments. In that case, adjust the ingredients accordingly. After the designated time, the bread has started to rise. I'll open it briefly, just for you!

Step 4

After the specified time has elapsed (which is usually different depending on the bread machine model), remove the bread. Do this carefully, as it will be very hot. It's better to wear gloves. You don't need to remove the bread immediately—let it sit for a while and cool down slightly.
