Delicious milk pancakes
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I added a bit of turmeric to the pancakes to enhance the color, and they turned out bright yellow and sunny. This recipe works well not only for sweet pancakes, but for savory ones too. They're perfect for stuffing. Good luck!
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for the pancakes. Warm the milk to a temperature of 40 degrees, no higher, so as not to kill the yeast.
- 2
Step 2

Add yeast, salt, and sugar to the milk. Dissolve everything.
- 3
Step 3

Add the egg, flour, vanilla sugar, vegetable oil, turmeric, and mix everything with a mixer until smooth. Cover the pancake batter with a towel, then let it rest in a warm place for 2–3 hours.
- 4
Step 4

Somewhere around 20-30 minutes, a foam layer will start to form—that's great, it means the yeast is working. Periodically press it down.
- 5
Step 5

Mix the batter; it should be very light and bubbly. If necessary, thin it slightly with warm milk. It should not be too thick, but neither should it be too runny.
- 6
Step 6

Preheat a non-stick frying pan, grease it with a drop of oil only the first time. Start frying the pancakes.
- 7
Step 7

Fry on both sides until golden brown.
