Description
The filling in this dish can be made with meat or fish mince; if you prefer vegetarian cuisine, replace it with a vegetable filling. For a healthier option, bake the dish in the oven. Serve the appetizer immediately with any sauce, or let it cool before serving.

1. Peel and finely chop the onion, garlic, parsley, and chili. Melt butter in a skillet and add the ground meat; sauté for 10 minutes. Then pour in water, add the vegetables and herbs. Cook everything for 20 minutes covered, then uncover and cook for another 10 minutes. Transfer the mixture to a bowl, add 3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs and beaten egg, along with all the spices, and mix well.

2. In a separate bowl, crack the chicken eggs and mix them. In another bowl, add breadcrumbs and flour, then mix.

3. Peel and wash the potatoes, then slice them thinly. Place a small amount of filling on one slice and top with another slice. This creates small sandwiches.

4. Dip each potato sandwich first into the flour and breadcrumbs mixture, then into the egg.
