Description

Universal dressing for salads and hot dishes. Smoked paprika can be replaced with liquid smoke or smoked soy sauce. Fresh or frozen cherries will work. The sauce combines sour, sweet, and a hint of spiciness. This sauce is perfect with meat and french fries. It's also ideal for pasta, meat, and vegetables.

    Prepare all the ingredients.

    Heat vegetable oil in a heavy-bottomed pot or saucepan. Add finely diced red onion. Sauté over medium heat for about 4-5 minutes until softened.

    Then add the minced garlic and heat for another 20-30 seconds until the aroma is released.
