Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Remove the pits from the cherries. It's best to choose the sweetest cherries, slightly overripe—this way the juice will be sweet and won't require added sugar. Put the pitted cherries, without stems and other debris, into the juicer.

Step 2

The juicer does its job. Add half of the water to the cherry puree left in the juicer and extract juice once again. Dilute the already extracted juice with the remaining half of water.

Step 3

Well, the juice is ready. If you're going to drink it or use it immediately, then you're all set. However, you can try freezing the cherry juice right away—this way it retains almost all of its beneficial properties, and you can use it in winter to prepare a sauce or something similar.

Step 4

To do this, pour the juice into portioned freezing bags and place them in the freezer. When you need the juice, thaw it naturally (don't even think about thawing in the microwave!) and use it.
