Cherry strudel from ready-made dough
Description
Delicious pastries for the whole family. If guests drop by unexpectedly, this recipe will definitely save the day! I always keep a pack of puff pastry in the freezer, just to be prepared. I should also mention that strudels are typically served with a scoop of ice cream. The combination of warm pastry and cold ice cream is especially delightful. But if you don't have ice cream on hand, don't worry—it will still be just as delicious. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Step 1

Take out the dough in advance to thaw, and start preparing the filling. Wash the apples, peel them, and cut into small cubes.

Step 2

Heat the oil in a skillet, chop the nuts and add them to the pan. Fry over heat, stirring. Add cherries, apples, sugar, and cinnamon. Mix everything and continue cooking for about 10 minutes.

Step 3

Let the filling cool down, and in the meantime start rolling out the dough. Shape it into a square. Then evenly spread the prepared fruits and berries over the entire surface.

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Roll the dough with the filling into a log. Brush it with soft butter for a golden color.

Step 5

Bake for 20 minutes, then serve the finished strudel dusted with powdered sugar.
