
Cherry pie with maple syrup
Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. Maple syrup gives a new flavor to many dishes, especially baked goods. It contains antioxidants, calcium, magnesium, potassium, and manganese. It is more nutritious and less caloric than corn syrup, honey, or white sugar. Maple syrup can replace white sugar when preparing desserts and drinks. It can be served with tea or coffee.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. In a bowl, combine eggs, yogurt, olive oil, sugar, and whisk with a whisk or mixer into a smooth mixture.

Thaw the cherries in advance and drain off any excess liquid. Sift the wheat flour together with the baking powder, add salt, and mix the dry ingredients. Add 2 tablespoons of the flour mixture to the prepared cherries and stir to combine.

Mix the dry ingredients with the egg mixture.

Gently mix the dough and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.

Grease the baking pan with butter, sprinkle with flour, and shake off the excess flour. Transfer the dough to the pan and place in a hot oven for 45–50 minutes.
