
Cherry liqueur at home
Description
The drink is quick and easy to prepare. You can use either fresh or frozen cherries to make homemade cherry liqueur. That's why the preparation is simple, and you can make delicious liqueur any time of the year. There are many different cherry liqueur recipes. In my opinion, this one is the easiest. Serve chilled.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Wash the cherries, remove the stems, and leave the pits in.

Place the cherries in a saucepan and pour cold water over them. Put on the stove. When it comes to a boil, add a few lemon slices, sugar, and vanilla to taste. Continue boiling for about 7-10 minutes. Then remove from heat and let cool.

Then strain the syrup cooled to room temperature; you can rub the berries through a sieve. Add vodka to the syrup, then pour it into a glass bottle. Seal with a screw cap. Store for about 2 weeks.

The cherry liqueur tastes best when chilled. Therefore, store it in the freezer for half an hour just before serving. Enjoy the finished homemade cherry liqueur at home with friends!
