
Cherry tincture
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Vodka can be used not only in baking and a vast number of cocktails, but also for making wonderful homemade infusions. Try this recipe for a delicious sweet cherry or sweet cherry liqueur, and you'll always keep a couple of jars in your pantry for special occasions. Preparation time: 6-8 weeks. The drink is ready to serve.

1. First, prepare a sterile one-liter jar with a tight-fitting lid, in which your drink will steep.

2. Wash the cherries, sort them, and shake off excess water thoroughly.

3. Pour sugar into the bottom of the jar, fill it to the top with cherries, and place the leaves at the very top.

4. Fill the entire space in the jar with vodka, tightly close the lid, and store in a dark place, shaking every 2–3 days. After 6–8 weeks, the tincture will be ready. It can be consumed as a standalone drink, served with ice, or used to prepare various alcoholic cocktails. The drunken cherries can be used in baking.
