
Grape Leaves for Winter
Description
Preservation recipe without unnecessary complications. Grape leaves store well, but keep in mind that after freezing they are fragile—don't rush to unwrap them; let them thaw properly. Serve at the table or store in the pantry.

1. Prepare the plastic wrap and gather only young, not large leaves from table grape varieties. Old leaves are not suitable; they are bitter.

2. Separate the leaves from the stems and wash thoroughly.

3. Blanch them with boiling water.

4. Drain in a colander and let drain well. You can pat the leaves dry with a cotton towel.

5. Spread plastic wrap on the table and place 5–7 leaves stacked on top of each other on it.

6. Fold tightly into an envelope.

7. And wrap in plastic wrap.

9. Place the rolls in the freezer and keep until needed. Thaw slowly before cooking. Good luck!
