Grape 5-Minute Jam
Description
A homemade winter preserve. Treat yourself and your loved ones to the taste of summer even in the cold season. It retains all the flavors and aromas. It is perfect for family tea time, as an accompaniment to pancakes, fritters, and syrniki. You can spread it on toast for breakfast, add it to yogurt instead of sugar, and even serve it with a scoop of ice cream. Any seedless grapes will work for the jam.

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients needed to make five-minute grape jam. Wash the jars and lids in hot water with baking soda, rinse them, and sterilize the jars using any convenient method. Boil the metal lids for five minutes.

Step 2

Wash the grapes and drain them in a colander so the water runs off. Spread the clusters on a paper towel so the grapes dry. Remove the grapes from the stems.

Step 3

Transfer the grapes into a heavy-bottomed saucepan or a preserving pan, layering them with sugar as you go.

Step 4

Pour water into a saucepan and set over low heat. Bring to a boil and cook until the sugar crystals have dissolved.

Step 5

Increase the heat and cook for another five minutes, skimming off the foam.
