Description

The drink is quick and easy to prepare. Don't deny yourself and your friends the pleasure of tasting this unique homemade grape infusion! Make it in autumn, during the season of harvesting these colorful berries. Store the infusion for 15-30 days in a dark and cool place. The drink is ready to serve.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. You can use any grapes, but if they are sour, add a little more sugar.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Remove the grapes from the stems and sort the berries, discarding any spoiled ones. Place the berries in a bowl or salad bowl and rinse with water.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Crush them so that the pulp comes out of each berry. Do not rub the berries through a sieve — the skin is important too, as it is the most aromatic!

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

Choose a narrow container with high sides for making the tincture: a jar, a container with a lid, but not made of metal. Place the grape mixture into it.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

Add granulated sugar or honey if you want to achieve a softer taste of the tincture.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Step 6

Pour in high-quality vodka or moonshine diluted to 40 degrees. Close the container with a lid and shake thoroughly. Place the container in a cool, dark place and store there for 15–30 days.

  7. 7

    Step 7

    Step 7

Shake the container every 2-3 days so that the grapes impart their aroma, color, and flavor to the drink.

  8. 8

    Step 8

    Step 8

Strain the tincture through a sieve and discard the residue after 15 days of aging. Taste it. Optionally, store it for another 15 days—the flavor of the drink will only improve. Chill before serving.
