Grape liqueur
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Let's agree, making tinctures and liqueurs at home isn't very labor-intensive. And it's not expensive at all. I really like that with homemade liqueurs, you can control the sugar level and the strength of the drink yourself. With this recipe, the liqueur turns out moderately sweet and about 20-25% alcohol. Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Make a syrup from sugar. To do this, melt it with a small amount of water. If necessary, add a teaspoon of starch.
- 2
Step 2

Use a special knife to remove the zest from the lemon. Remove only the top layer, as the white layer will be bitter and spoil the liqueur.
- 3
Step 3

Pour water or alcohol over the zest and spices, let steep for three hours.

Step 4

Add grapes and sugar syrup to the alcohol. Pour the liqueur into jars and seal them tightly with lids. Let it infuse for 2–3 months in a dark, cool place.
