Wine from apple juice
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Here's a simple recipe for wine made from apple juice. Give it a try—I'm sure you'll enjoy this drink too! The wine turns out quite tart, so if you prefer something sweeter, you might want to add more raisins. Even though I used sweet apples and sweet juice, the wine still came out rather sour. Overall, the taste resembles cider, but without the carbonation. The alcohol content turned out to be around 11%, and the consistency is semi-transparent. Do give it a try.

Step 1

1. Thoroughly wash the apples and raisins, cut them in half, and place them into a special beer brewing bag. Separately, heat 5 liters of juice and add it to the fruits. Then add sugar and wine yeast, and gently mix.

2. Add the remaining juice and dextrose, gently press the apples down from above with something heavy and clean (a boiled jar will work), and place under an airlock for one month.

Step 3

3. The result is a strong dry wine. I recommend clarifying it with a special jelly containing chitosan to achieve a smoother taste. Moreover, if you distill it twice afterward, you'll get a good calvados!

4. That's it! Pour the finished wine into bottles and let it age. Or drink it young. Ready!
