Cherry wine with yeast
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The wine may overflow during fermentation, so place the bucket into a tray. If there's pomace on the surface before filtering, it's best to remove it. For greater clarity, I recommend filtering several times. Cherry wine turns out rich and very aromatic. The drink is ready to serve.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making cherry wine using yeast. Sort the berries, rinse them thoroughly in cold water, and let them drain completely.
- 2
Step 2

Place the cherries into a wide-mouthed container, such as a bucket, and mash the berries by hand.
- 3
Step 3

Crumble the fresh yeast into the cherries and stir until the yeast is completely dissolved.
- 4
Step 4

Add the sugar and mix well.
- 5
Step 5

Pour warm water into the mixture and stir. Then cover the bucket with plastic wrap and place it in a dark spot at room temperature for three days, stirring daily.

Step 6

After three days, everything should settle at the bottom. Carefully strain the liquid through a sieve lined with several layers of gauze, ensuring no sediment or residue passes through. Pour into bottles, seal, and store in a dark, cool place for two months to mature. However, it can also be consumed immediately after cooling.
