Wine from honey
Description
The recipe won't take much time. You can make homemade wine from berries, grapes, and more. Today I'll tell you
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. In addition to the ingredients, we will also need a large bottle, preferably with an airlock.
- 2
Step 2

Chop the field flowers (yarrow, lavender). For dandelions, remove everything except the flower heads.
- 3
Step 3

Place all the flowers in a pot and pour water over them. Put on the heat and bring to a boil.
- 4
Step 4

When the water comes to a boil, turn off the heat and let it steep for about 20 minutes. While the water is still warm, add honey and stir until completely dissolved.
- 5
Step 5

Pour everything into the container in which the wine will ferment.
- 6
Step 6

Add raisins and lemon, sliced into circles.
- 7
Step 7

Add water, leaving a little space at the neck. Add the yeast (I used half a packet), but make sure to check the liquid temperature beforehand—25°C is ideal.
- 8
Step 8

Close the bottle and shake well to mix the yeast. You will see bubbles forming — the yeast has started to ferment.
- 9
Step 9

Place the airlock on the bottle and let the wine ferment for up to 6 weeks in a dark place. From time to time, strain the wine—it will become clearer. Also, stir the flowers occasionally to prevent mold and accidental bottle explosion.
- 10
Step 10

With each straining, the wine will become lighter. And before bottling, you can strain and discard the remaining flower residue.
