Wine from raspberry jam
Description
Homemade wine can be made not only from traditional grapes but also from jam, including even older jam. 1. First, prepare a clean three-liter jar. Sterilize it and then let it cool. 2. Boil water and then cool it down to approximately room temperature. 3. Place the jam into the clean jar and pour the cooled water over it. To make raspberry jam wine start fermenting at home, add raisins. There's no need to soak or wash them—just place them directly into the jar. 4. At this stage, cover the jar with a lid and leave it for about a week to ten days. 5. Then, carefully strain the entire mixture using several layers of cheesecloth. 6. Pour the strained liquid into a clean jar and fit a regular medical glove over the opening. 7. To allow gas to escape, make a small puncture in one of the glove's fingers and leave the jar for about a month. 8. After this period, observe the glove gradually deflating. Once it has completely deflated, the first stage of the raspberry jam wine recipe is complete. 9. Carefully pour the wine into clean bottles and store them in a dark place. Allow the wine to age for at least a couple of months before serving.
