Wine from melon
Description
Sweet fortified wine turns out well from melon. If you'd like to make melon wine yourself, here's a recipe recorded from farmers! 1. Extract juice from very sweet and very ripe melons. 2. Pour the juice into a large glass bottle and add sugar and yeast dissolved in water. You can also add a wine starter culture made from raspberries or strawberries to enhance fermentation or increase alcohol content. 3. Install an airlock: attach a tightly sealed tube and submerge it into a container of water, or place a rubber glove over the bottle neck. During fermentation, the water will bubble as gases escape. 4. Once fermentation is complete, filter the wine and taste it. Add more sugar if needed. 5. Bottle the wine and seal the bottles. The flavor improves with long-term aging. That's it! Now you know. The drink is ready to serve.
