Wine from birch sap at home
Description
The drink is prepared quickly and easily. 1. To repeat this simple recipe for birch sap wine at home, you need fresh and natural ingredients, so choose the sap very carefully. Pour it into a large container and add sugar. 2. Add a pinch of citric acid (it will not only add a pleasant tang to the taste but also act as a preservative) and place the container on the stove. Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat to the minimum. 3. Stir constantly and skim off the foam, reducing the liquid by about one-fifth to remove excess moisture. 4. Remove from heat, let it cool slightly, then add yeast or a handful of dry, unwashed raisins. Mix thoroughly. 5. Transfer the mixture into a bottle, cover with a lid fitted with an airlock or a medical glove. Leave it in a warm place for about one month. During this time, make sure the mixture is actively fermenting ("playing"). 6. After a month, siphon the wine into a clean container using a thin tube to aerate it, then store it in a dark place for about 20 days. 7. Finally, transfer it once more, leaving the sediment in the previous container, and store it in a dark, cool place for maturation. That's the entire method for making birch sap wine at home. You can try it for the first time after about a month. Serve chilled.
