Wine sauce
Description
A delicious addition to everyday and festive dishes. Today I'll show you how to make wine sauce. This recipe is basic—nothing extra, just essential ingredients and the correct preparation method. I can assure you that in good restaurants, wine sauce is prepared exactly this way, perhaps with a chef's optional addition of extra spices or seasonings. But otherwise, proper wine sauce is made precisely like this. If you want to make your lunch or dinner more sophisticated—this recipe is for you. Good luck and enjoy!
Instructions

Step 1

Place the saucepan over medium heat and melt half of the butter in it. Once the butter has melted, reduce the heat to low and cook, stirring constantly, until the butter begins to turn brown.
- 2
Step 2

Slowly add the flour to the butter, whisking the mixture continuously with a whisk. The flour should blend completely with the butter, without forming lumps.
- 3
Step 3

Then add the broth to the saucepan. Whisk with a whisk until smooth and cook for a couple of minutes.
- 4
Step 4

Add the wine and again mix everything with a whisk.
- 5
Step 5

Simmer over low heat for 1 hour. During this time, the sauce will reduce by about half.
- 6
Step 6

After an hour, add the remaining butter to the sauce. Gently stir and cook the sauce to your desired consistency (some prefer a thinner wine sauce, others a thicker one).

Step 7

The wine sauce is ready. Serve hot.
