Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients, keeping in mind that the butter should be soft. Therefore, take it out of the refrigerator 30-40 minutes before starting to make the cake dough.
- 2
Step 2

Beat the butter with sugar using a mixer, adding the eggs one at a time.
- 3
Step 3

Separately combine the flour with the baking powder and, sifting the mixture, gradually add it to the whipped butter-egg mixture. Mix the batter from the bottom up with a spoon or silicone spatula.
- 4
Step 4

You will get quite thick dough, which needs to be divided into 2 roughly equal parts.
- 5
Step 5

Melt both types of chocolate, broken into pieces, one after the other using a double boiler. It's convenient to start with the white chocolate, then melt the dark chocolate in the same container.
- 6
Step 6

Add the melted white chocolate to one of the parts and mix the mass until smooth.
- 7
Step 7

Similarly, add dark chocolate to the second half of the dough.
- 8
Step 8

Pour 60 ml of wine into each of the two resulting types of dough.
- 9
Step 9

Mix the ingredients thoroughly until smooth. The batter will become thinner and run off the spoon.
- 10
Step 10

When both types of dough are completely ready, alternately spoon them (2-3 tablespoons each) into the prepared pan. If the pan does not have a hole in the center, you can layer the portions on top of each other in the center, alternating the colors.
- 11
Step 11

Place all the remaining dough, forming another layer in a checkerboard pattern. If the pan is taller, the number of layers may increase.
- 12
Step 12

Using a wooden stick or fork, draw through the entire thickness of the layered dough to combine the two types of dough into a random pattern.
- 13
Step 13

Bake the chocolate wine cake with two types of chocolate at 175 degrees Celsius for 40-50 minutes. If desired, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
