Ham with cheese and garlic

A tasty appetizer for any gathering. Bright, flavorful balls that look like Christmas tree ornaments. I often make them from different ingredients for the New Year’s table. Here is my recipe for ham with cheese and garlic. 1. Hard-boil the eggs and cool them in cold water. 2. Grate the ham on a medium grater. 3. Peel the garlic and chop finely or press through a garlic press. 4. Wash the dill, pat dry, and chop finely. 5. Grate the cooled eggs. Grate one yolk separately. 6. Mix the ham, cheese, eggs, and garlic. You should get a fairly thick mixture that you can shape into balls. If it is not thick enough, add a little mayonnaise. 7. Roll the finished balls in different “coatings”—yolk, sweet paprika, sesame seeds, and chopped dill. 8. Arrange the colorful balls on a platter and refrigerate until your guests arrive.
