Homemade Chicken Ham
Description
1. Wash the chicken fillet, pat dry, and cut into small pieces. The smaller the cubes, the more tender the ham will be. 2. Place the chicken in a deep bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste; if desired, you can add your favorite spices and dried herbs. 3. Peel and mince the garlic. Add it to the fillet and mix everything thoroughly. 4. This homemade chicken ham recipe calls for using a juice or milk bag, for example, to give the delicacy the desired shape. 5. Place the fillet in the bag and press it tightly so there is as little empty space as possible. 6. You will need instant gelatin, which should be sprinkled dry over the fillet. 7. This is a classic homemade chicken ham recipe; if desired, you can also add minced carrot, for example. Place the bag with the ham in a pot of water and weigh it down on top with a press (a jar of water, for example). 8. Simmer over low heat for about 90 minutes, then leave it to cool completely in the bag. 9. Before serving, carefully cut open the bag and slice the ham into thin pieces. Serve the appetizer at the table.
