Description
This appetizer is quick and easy to make. This recipe is quite versatile. These mushrooms with cheese can be served as an appetizer, a warm salad, or used as a topping for boiled pasta. Tasty and simple. Serve with herbs and sauce.

Step 1

Peel the onion, remove the skins, and chop it finely. Heat two tablespoons of vegetable oil in a clean, dry skillet. Add the onion to the skillet and sauté for a few minutes, stirring with a spatula.

Step 2

While the onion is frying in the pan, you can prepare the mushrooms. Rinse the oyster mushrooms and pat them dry with a paper towel. If the mushrooms are large, slice them.

Step 3

Add the mushrooms to the onion and pour a few tablespoons of clean water into the pan. Sauté the ingredients until the liquid has evaporated. Then add a little butter and a crushed clove of garlic, and cook until the mushrooms develop a golden crust.

Step 5

Serve this appetizer warm in glass bowls. I served it in ready-made tartlets instead, which made this simple appetizer quite suitable for a festive table.
