Lavash rolls
Description
Delicious pastry for the whole family. This Moldovan dish is one of our favorites, especially when grandma prepares it for holidays using special pulled dough. But I don't always have the time or willpower to make that kind of dough, so I found a quick and easy recipe for vertuta using lavash. It takes only about half an hour to prepare, and the taste is simply wonderful—of course, not as amazing as my grandma's vertuta, but still very delicious. For the filling, I used my favorite cottage cheese, but naturally, you can use anything you like: feta, minced meat, mushrooms, vegetables, or even fruits. Either way, this homemade lavash vertuta turns out incredibly tasty and aromatic—just give it a try! Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and fry the rolls on all sides until golden brown. Now our vertuta is ready, and we can serve it to the table.
