
Hungarian side dish
Description
Even judging by this website, it's clear that most home cooks, wanting to diversify their diet, actively experiment with main dishes, yet serve them daily with the same side dishes. Rice, pasta, potatoes, buckwheat... But you can prepare the same meat and serve it with a different side dish—and the effect will be completely different :) Hungarian side dish is perfect for those times when you want to experiment specifically with the side dish. Wash the pepper, remove the membranes and seeds, then cut into narrow strips—as shown in the photo.

Pour a little vegetable oil into a frying pan, add sliced peppers and string beans.

Grate the lime zest on a fine grater.

When the vegetables have softened slightly (about 5 minutes), add lime zest, juice of half a lime, and paprika. Stir and continue simmering over medium heat for another 5 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.

One minute before the end of cooking, add chopped parsley to the vegetables. Remove from heat, let cool slightly, and serve. The Hungarian side dish is ready!
