So, peel the carrots and onion, then grate the carrots on a coarse grater and finely chop the onion.

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and sauté the onion and carrot until golden brown.

Squeeze the sauerkraut, and if it is very sour, rinse it. Place the sauerkraut in the pan with the onion and carrots, and fry everything until the sauerkraut begins to brown and loses its bitterness.

Chop the dill and wild garlic, prepare the green beans and bay leaf.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces.

Place the sliced potatoes in the pan, mix everything and fry for about 5-7 minutes.

Then add bay leaf, chili pepper, and tomato paste, pour in water, season the bigos with salt and pepper to taste, mix everything, and simmer over low heat, covered, for 20–30 minutes, until the potatoes become tender.

A few minutes before the dish is ready, add chopped greens and ramsons to it.
