
Vegetarian buns
Description
Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. These wonderful tea buns are made with a sponge dough. They are great to serve at any time of day and will stand out even on a festive table. Try them yourself and see! Can be served with tea or coffee.

Dissolve the yeast with sugar (25 g) in warm soy milk, let it stand for a few minutes, then mix with flour.

Add spices, sugar, raisins, zest, and melted margarine (75 g) to the dough, and knead the dough.

Then shape the dough into a ball, place it in a bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for about one to one and a half hours. During this time, it should double in size.

Meanwhile, prepare the dough for decorating the buns: mix the flour with the remaining margarine, rub it in, gradually adding water by eye until you get a stretchy dough. Roll it into thin sausages.

Divide the risen dough into equal parts, roll them into balls, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Let them rest in this form for half an hour.

Dissolve a spoonful of sugar in a small amount of water by gently heating it, but do not bring to a boil. Brush the buns with the resulting syrup, decorate them with strips of dough, and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
