Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Pour warm water into a deep bowl. Add sugar, salt, and yeast.
- 3
Step 3

Stir until they dissolve completely.
- 4
Step 4

Pour in the olive oil.
- 5
Step 5

Sift the flour into a bowl.
- 6
Step 6

Mix until they are completely combined.
- 7
Step 7

Let the dough rest for about 10 minutes, then knead it until completely smooth.
- 8
Step 8

Transfer the dough to a bowl greased with vegetable oil, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 12–48 hours. The longer the dough rests, the tastier it will be.
- 9
Step 9

Knead the dough, shape it into a ball. Cover with plastic wrap and let it rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- 10
Step 10

Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Slice the tomatoes and olives into rounds, cut the red onion into half-rings, and slice the mushrooms into thick pieces.
- 11
Step 11

Sauté the mushrooms until lightly golden in a small amount of vegetable oil. You can skip this step and place raw mushrooms on the pizza, but cooking them beforehand will result in a richer flavor.
- 12
Step 12

Place the dough on a surface sprinkled with semolina and gently stretch it. Shape it into a circle or oval, and form the edges.
- 13
Step 13

Spread with tomato paste.
- 14
Step 14

Sprinkle with grated cheese on top.
- 15
Step 15

Then add the prepared filling. Season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle with dried Italian herbs. Bake for 10–12 minutes in a preheated oven at 250°C (including the baking sheet).
- 16
Step 16

Add fresh basil leaves to the ready pizza. Vegetarian pizza is ready.
- 17
Step 17

Enjoy your meal!
