
Cottage Cheese and Jam Vatrushki
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. You can use any dough you like. To keep the bottom of the glass from sticking to the dough, dip it in flour each time. You can substitute jam for preserve and choose whatever suits your taste. If you like smooth cottage cheese, press it through a sieve or blend it in a blender.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making sweet cheese buns with cottage cheese and jam.

Prepare a soft yeast dough. To do this, mix warm water, fresh yeast, egg, and vegetable oil until smooth. Combine half of the flour with the baking powder and add to the liquid, then stir. Gradually adding the remaining flour, knead a soft, pleasant dough. Transfer it to a deep bowl greased with vegetable oil and cover with a clean cloth. Place in a warm spot for 40-60 minutes to rise.

Divide the dough into equal pieces. Grease the baking sheet with vegetable oil, roll the dough into balls, and space them apart. Cover the baking sheet and let stand for 10–15 minutes.

In a bowl, combine the cottage cheese, egg, and sugar; mix until smooth.

Using the bottom of a glass, make a hollow in each ball and spoon in the cottage cheese filling.

Make a small hollow in the cottage cheese and spoon in the jam. Place the baking sheet with the vatrushki in a hot oven and bake for 20–25 minutes at 180°C. Remove the vatrushki from the oven, cover with a cloth, and let stand for 5–10 minutes.
