Cheese Pancakes with Jam
Description
Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. If you're craving something delicious, aromatic, and fluffy from the oven, I suggest making these wonderfully tasty vatrushkas. The recipe for vatrushkas with jam is very simple, and preparing them is pure pleasure. Even if you're not usually a fan of vatrushkas, you'll definitely love these. Serve with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Add sugar and slightly less than a teaspoon of salt to warm milk.
- 2
Step 2

Next, add the yeast, stirring until they are completely dissolved in the milk.
- 3
Step 3

Melt the butter and add it to the mixture. I did this in the microwave. Lightly beat the eggs with a fork and pour them into the milk mixture as well.
- 4
Step 4

Add the sifted flour and knead a soft dough.
- 5
Step 5

Now let's let our dough rise in a warm place. I put it in a multicooker. Set the "Yogurt" mode and time for 90 minutes. The dough should rise very well.
- 6
Step 6

Slightly press down the risen dough and divide it into portions. I got 11 large pieces. Shape them into balls, flatten slightly, and place them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover with a towel and let rest for 15 minutes.
- 7
Step 7

Using a glass or a small cup, make indentations in the vatrushka dough pieces. Be sure to grease the bottom of the cup with vegetable oil so the dough doesn't stick.
- 8
Step 8

Place 1-2 teaspoons of thick jam into each indentation. Bake the vatrushkas in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30-35 minutes.
- 9
Step 9

We serve the slightly cooled vatrushkas at the table.
