
Vatrushki with lingonberries

1. Dissolve the yeast with a spoonful of sugar in warmed kefir. Bubbles or foam should appear.

2. Next, beat the yeast mixture until smooth with eggs and the remaining sugar, then add melted butter and vanillin. Mix, gradually add flour. Stir, let the dough rise for an hour. Then "knead" it again and let it rest for another half hour.

3. Knead the dough once again and shape it into identical rounds. Meanwhile, mix the lingonberries with sugar and warm them slightly until the berries are in syrup. Place the mixture on top of the rounds.
