Cheese-filled vatrushka
Description
The baking is simple and quick. Of course, the tastiest cheese buns are made with classic yeast dough prepared with milk and eggs. In this version, the cheese buns are absolutely delicious. However, they also turn out very tasty when made with simple yeast dough using water. This version requires less time and uses ingredients you always have in the fridge. The one constant ingredient in cheese buns is cottage cheese, which should be chosen carefully. I don't recommend using fat-free cottage cheese—opt for good, fatty, homemade cottage cheese for the best flavor. So, jot down the recipe.
