First, prepare all the necessary ingredients. Soak the raisins in boiling water beforehand. To prepare the dough, sift the flour into a separate container, then add sugar, dry yeast, and mix everything thoroughly. Add vanilla.

In a separate bowl, mix 2-3 eggs, add warm milk, and stir thoroughly. Then combine the egg mixture with flour. Knead the dough.

Melt the butter in a double boiler and add it to the dough, then gradually sift in the flour. Knead the dough into a ball, cover with a towel, and let it rest in a warm place for 1 hour.

Meanwhile, prepare the filling. In a separate bowl, mix the cottage cheese, egg, raisins, and sugar, stirring thoroughly.

Take out the dough, roll it into a ball and set aside for another 45 minutes. When the dough has risen, divide it into 10 pieces and shape them into vatrushkas, making a depression in the center. Fill the depression in the dough with the cottage cheese filling. Mix sour cream and egg yolks, stir well, and brush the surface of the vatrushkas with the mixture.
