
Boiled Omelet in a Bag
Description
Perfect for meals and drinks. Surprisingly, a boiled omelet in a bag made at home is just as good as its fried counterpart. Soft and juicy, yet cooked without a drop of oil or fat. This omelet is perfect for a children's breakfast. Serve as an appetizer at the table.

1. First, beat the eggs into a small bowl. If the eggs are large, you can use 2 eggs per serving. At the same time, pour water into a small saucepan and place it on the heat.

2. Using a whisk or mixer, begin beating the eggs until foam appears. The preparation stage of the boiled omelet in a bag recipe does not differ from the classic version. Add a pinch of salt during the process. If desired, you can add your favorite spices, aromatic herbs, or fresh greens.

3. Add a little milk and beat the egg mixture until it increases slightly in volume. You can also make this omelet with a filling by adding to the eggs shredded boiled chicken, finely chopped vegetables, or other additions to taste.

4. Now you need to prepare a regular polyethylene bag or a roasting sleeve. Carefully pour the egg mixture into it and seal the top tightly. The edges must be sealed well so the omelet does not leak out during cooking.

5. When the water has come to a boil, place the bag with the omelet into the pot. A boiled omelet in a bag made at home will be ready in 20–25 minutes.

6. Carefully cut open the bag and transfer the omelet onto a plate. Despite its unusual shape, this omelet can easily be cut with a knife into individual portions and served at the table, garnished with fresh herbs.
