Dumplings in the microwave
Description
If you haven't yet tried dumplings cooked in the microwave, you'll be amazed at how tender, springy, and juicy they can actually be! This cooking method preserves all the nutrients, and the dough isn't constantly exposed to boiling water (which is exactly what often makes dumpling dough tough). That's why I'm sharing with you my microwave dumpling recipe: 1. Take the dumplings out of the freezer and let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes. 2. Meanwhile, find a microwave-safe pot and place the dumplings inside. Try to arrange them in a single layer so they cook evenly. 3. Pour a glass of water over them, add salt, pepper, a bay leaf, and any other spices you like. Cover the pot and microwave for 15 minutes. That's it! You've saved time for other important tasks, and your dumplings turn out beautifully cooked on the outside and deliciously juicy on the inside. I'm certain that once you've tried this method, you'll never go back to the traditional way.
